Fred is about 3 years old; He has a lovely temperament and is very friendly when he gets to know you. He is calm and enjoys relaxing, being cuddled and watching the world go by. However, he is also an excellent watch dog and will bark like mad if anyone walks past the shelter – then falls back to sleep!

Fred enjoys being brushed and hunting for rodents with his mother Wilma - who is also at the shelter. Fred, like Wilma, has spent most of his life on a chain and would therefore like a home with a garden so that he can doze among the flowers.
