June 2008 -Discussions are still on going with the Government of Montserrat over land for the new MAPS animal shelter. We are getting very worried as the owners of the land that the shelter is currently on, want the land back in mid July. At the moment the shelter is full of dogs and we will have nowhere to keep them. The MAPS veterinary clinic which is situated at the shelter (the only veterinary clinic on Montserrat) will also no longer be able to function from mid July.
